Adult Pickleball Team

Spring matches will be held on Sundays at 11am (and possibly a second set of matches at 12pm).  We play 4 lines of doubles.  The regular season will be from April 19th – May 31st.  Playoffs will be the first two weeks of June.  You do not need to be able to play every week.  Once registered, you will be asked to input your availability for each week.  Our captains will send out a lineup each week with the players selected to play (if more than 8 are available).

A few additional notes:

  • This is an adult league; we are trying to find a youth league that will work for our club.
  • Highlands members play $20 for the season; Guests pay $40 to cover club fees
  • There are various levels in this league, but you must have some pickleball match experience to register (and know how to keep score).

If you would like to register for the Spring Pickleball League, please complete the form and provide payment.

If you have any additional questions, please contact Beth Taylor at [email protected].

Tennis Clinics

Spring 2026 clinics coming soon.  Check back in early 2026 for the clinic schedule and to register early!

Junior Tennis Team

Junior Tennis Team (JTT)

Coach Dylan Farmer is pumped to take the lead of our Junior Team in 2026, and it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable season!

Practices won’t just be about hard work (though we’ll bring it!) – they’ll be packed with Game Days, extra match play all week long, and epic Player of the Week awards that celebrate effort, improvement, and teamwork.

Whether your junior is stepping onto the court or the first time or ready to level up, ALL Highlands Juniors are invited to jump in, have fun, and grow their game.

Registration is coming soon, but here are the details that we know so far…

  • Early Bird JTT Registration available until April 1st: $400; JTT Registration after 4/1: $450
  • Plan to join us at the Open House (Date TBD) in the upper grassy area (weather permitting).  It will be a great opportunity to meet our coaches and JTT Parent Rep, ask questions, and pick up your t-shirt.
  • Team Picture date and time is currently TBD.
  • Team Olympics Kickoff Event will be on June 19th (Time TBD) – Players from all age groups will be mixed into teams and compete in various tennis games and other skills challenges for an exciting start to the season!
  • Friday Night Pizza & Match Play sessions from 5-7 PM.  Match play-ready players are invited to join for a mix of intrasquad matchplay, pizza, and socialize with teammates!
    • For Players 13 and over: 6/26, 7/10, 7/24
    • For Players 12 and under: 7/3, 7/17, 7/24
  • The season will officially start on Monday, June 22nd with weekday practices Monday – Friday.
  • Morning Practice Times will be held Monday – Friday:
    • 9-10 AM – Ages 8 and under Red Ball Team
    • 8-9 AM – Ages 9-10 Orange Ball Team
    • 11-12 AM – Ages 11-12 Green Ball Team
    • 10-11 AM – Ages 13+ Yellow Ball Team
  • Afternoon Practices will be held Mondays & Wednesdays:
    • 4-5 PM – Ages 9-12
    • 5-6 PM – Ages 13+
  • Matches are scheduled:
    • Tuesdays 4-6 PM
    • Thursdays 4-6 PM
  • All practices will be separated by level as best as possible to ensure quality practice time for all players.
  • For any players with match experience who cannot make our practice times work, we still want your participation when possible, so we will have a “match-only” option for registration.  This is geared towards our older players, not our beginners.
  • End of season party date / time is still TBD

Creating a more competitive team is the main goal for 2026, but we also want to emphasize building a better path towards progression for more beginner juniors for the following seasons!

Please contact Coach Dylan Farmer at [email protected] or JTT Parent Rep Carrie Gray at [email protected] with any questions.

Court Reservations

Reservation System

Courts can be reserved by members throughout the season!

Highlands has four tennis courts available to reserve:

  • Court 1, lower court closest to parking lot, with lights
  • Court 2, lower court furthest from the parking lot, with lights
  • Court 3, upper court closest to the pool, no lights, multi-use with pickleball
  • Court 4, upper court closest to the neighborhood, multi-use with pickleball

During the tennis season (mid-March through November), court reservations should be made and will take precedence over anyone using the court without a reservation.  Each court can be reserved free of charge by members up to 1.5 hours per day.

During the off season / colder months, courts will be first come, first served.

If you would like to use the ball machine, reserve court #2 and follow instructions to access ball machine in confirmation email.

To reserve a court:

  1. First log in to your account which will direct you to the Manage Account page.  Then navigate to Reservations and then Make Reservations.
  2. Navigate to the date, time and court you would like to reserve, and then select the 1/2 hour increment you would like to book.  A pop up window will appear.  Select the person using the reservation and email address where you would like the confirmation sent.  Then select the green “Book It” button.
  3. Repeat step #2 for up to two additional half hour increments per day per member.

Enjoy!

Tennis & Pickleball

Playing Tennis & Pickleball at Highlands

Coach Dylan Farmer is thrilled for the opportunity to join the Highlands Swim & Tennis Club community in 2026!  Dylan’s goal is to build upon the long-standing tennis and pickleball community that Highlands has established over the years and offer a more fulfilling experience to all our Highlands members when they join us on the courts at Highlands.  In addition, Coach Dylan will offer high level instruction in Tennis and Pickleball while also maintaining strong relationships with our Highlands members. Members will have access to the following benefits…

  • Daily maintenance (Mon – Sat) of 4 Tennis courts; 2 with lights (aka the lower courts) and 2 that are multi-use with Pickleball (aka the upper courts), plus one dedicated Pickleball Court.  Including fresh water on the courts.
  • A ball machine available for reservations.
  • A leaf blower available for member use.
  • A focused effort on building up the Junior Tennis Team (JTT). Note that the morning practice times are compatible with the swim team / dive team so that JTT players can be occupied at Highlands all morning long!
  • Increased availability to book private / semi-private lessons with Coach Dylan.
  • Eight adult tennis teams (with practice options available) at various levels with different match days / times to provide options for everyone.
  • A wide variety of Junior and Adult leveled clinics offered by Coach Dylan in the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
  • Online Court Reservation System integrated into the Highlands website.
  • Many more Tennis and Pickleball socials throughout the year.
  • A group email list targeting tennis and pickleball players that will be used to disseminate reminders about upcoming events, tennis team signups, code for bathroom use, and other important information. If you would like to be added, please contact [email protected]

For questions and more information about Tennis and Pickleball at Highlands, please contact Coach Dylan at [email protected].
